A PDF pattern is an electronic copy of a pattern.  You can download it onto your computer, tablet, ipad or smart phone and save a copy.  You may also print copies for your own use.

After you create an account and pay for the pattern you will receive an email with a receipt and a download link.   Click on the link, it will bring you back to my website.  Sign into your account and click on the download link next to the name of the pattern.

The PDF is in a zipped (compressed) file.  Your computer will need to be able to download, open and save zipped files.

Having limits prevents sharing  and ensures that you save the pdf file.  You will have three tries to download and save your pattern.  Please note that there is also a 24 hour time limit, so be sure to save it the first time!

Oops – sometimes you think you’ve got it and its gone – if that happens send me a message (contact me).  I am able to reset the downloads and let you try to to download again.  I am happy to do so and will try to do so as soon as I get your message, however time zones and life may hinder my response – so don’t forget to keep checking your account until you get the reset.

My PDFs are sent in a zip file, I find that these work better on mobile devices, but please note that sometimes opening files on a mobile device will eat up your downloads (due to their limited ability to save files many mobile devices will continually refresh in the background until you exceed your limit).  Be sure to open the file in an app that will save it.

Also, be sure that your computer is able to download, open and save zipped (compressed) files.

Yes. The pattern you purchase is for your personal, individual use only; you may use it to weave items for yourself and as gifts. In addition, you may use the pattern to make and sell small quantities of items at craft fairs, Etsy or on your own website as long as credit is given to me for the pattern in any written description of the item.

Yes, if you would like a printed copy of a pattern mailed to you, send me a message.  I will invoice you and mail it our via USPS First Class.

The cost for mailing you a pattern is the pattern price plus a printing fee and shipping.

Printing charges:

• 1-5 page patterns – $0.50
• 6-10 page patterns -$1.00
• 10 plus page patterns – $2.00

You may only teach my patterns to guilds, classes, and other groups of weavers with my express permission.  If permission is granted, the  patterns must be purchased from me. If you are interested in teaching one of my patterns, please contact me. If I have retired the pattern from my teaching schedule, I will be willing to work out a group rate for patterns

I teach these designs to my students at guilds and basket weaving events across North America.   I rarely grant permission for people to teach my newer work.  This is my vocation, please respect my work.

Yes.  I often have kits available for many of the patterns on my website.  However I don’t always post them.   I bring extra kits to events and guilds all the time, so if you are looking for a kit, contact me, I may just have one! I only ship to US addresses.

Shipping cost will be determined by the weight and size of the package. Customers will be notified of exact shipping cost at billing.

No, however I often have kits and patterns with me when I teach at events and guilds. Most events provide a Teacher’s Marketplace or a display table for me.  On my Teaching Schedule I also post the events at which I will be Vending.
